Artist's Comments

we met my cousin's friend David for dinner in Chealse Village and we started talking about what counts as art in NYC.

this is the "artistic event" we came up with "Restaurant Tragedy"

[edit]

I need to give more credit to Dave, he actually set up this whole thing, on a napkin from the restaurant where we were eating, I merely shot it. :)

:giggle: I usually totally despise the kinds of conceptual interactive installation art, and can't take it as a Fine Art. What the HELL IS UP WITH that guy that rented a building and put pay phones where you talk to the person across from you!? THAT IS NOT ART. IT DOESN'T EXPRESS ANYTHING. (Other than stupidity.) :XD:

This, on the other hand, is sequential and amusing. There's a story behind it, and it's well-photographed, too. :D

It's far too easy to pull the wool over the eyes of sheep who yield in the stead of mediocrity. They'll never realize they've seen it before.
